Installation

UNOKLIMA units can only be mounted in exterior walls that are between 250 and 500mm thick. For thicker exterior walls, a 700mm wall tube can be purchased.

  • For installing a 100mm unit, the wall opening should be 105-115mm.
  • For installing a 160mm unit, the wall opening should be 165-175mm.

The wall opening should have an outward slope of 1-2 degrees to ensure that any condensation is directed away from the unit and the wall materials. It is recommended to use construction silicone to create a seal between the wall tube and the wall material.

The unit should be installed high on an exterior wall with the following distance requirements:

  • Minimum 230mm from the center of the hole to the ceiling, overhang, and room corner.
  • If the house has sloping eaves, the top edge of the wall opening should be below the lowest point of the eaves.

Avoid installation near curtains, wood stoves, and gas stoves, as this can affect the unit's operation. If multiple units are installed in the same room, the distance between the units should be at least 3 meters.

Installation must only be performed by an authorized installer. Make sure the electrical supply in the installation room is turned off before starting the electrical connection.

Product operation

The product operates in a cycle of 70 seconds of extraction and 70 seconds of intake with an open flap. The flap takes 40 seconds to open when the unit is started.

Connecting multiple units in series

  • Model BASE cannot be connected in series with other units, even identical ones.
  • Model Bathroom Special cannot be connected in series with other units, even identical ones.
  • Model REMOTE can be connected in series with up to 16 units using a cable. Only units of the same type can be connected in series – 100mm units with other 100mm units and 160mm units with other 160mm units. The first installed unit receives signals from the remote control and controls the subsequent units.

Configuration

  • Model BASE requires no configuration.
  • Model Bathroom Special requires no configuration.
  • Model REMOTE must be configured in MASTER-SLAVE order according to the installation manual.
