EN_INFORMATION NOTICE REGULATION (EU) 2023/2854 DATA ACT
1. Introduction
VVS-Trading provides decentralized Mechanical Controlled Ventilation units (hereinafter the “Product”), which can be remotely controlled via dedicated App (hereinafter also the “Related Service”).
With this notice, issued pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (“Data Act”), VVS-Trading intends to provide information regarding the data generated by the Product and the App, the methods of accessing such data, and the user’s rights in relation to such data.
2. Products
Reference is made to all products controllable via the dedicated applications owned by VVS-Trading
3. Data generated by the Product
During operation, the Product may generate the following data: Types of Product Data
- TEMPORARY DATA
1) Identification and connection data:
a. device serial number;
b. device type/model;
c. communication session identifier;
d. date/time of last communication.
2) Device status and operation data:
a. active operating mode;
b. fan speed; humidity level setting;
c. measured values (temperature, humidity, air quality);
d. status information/alerts (humidity alarm, filter status, night mode/night alarms, light level detected, signal strength, scheduling status). - STORED DATA
Device firmware versions: radio firmware, microcontroller firmware, radio control firmware.
Format
Compact binary messages with a fixed 8-byte header (message type + device type + serial number) and variable body size (1/2/4 byte) based on message type.
Estimated volume
Approximately 179 kB/day per device.
Continuity of data generation
Operational data are generated continuously in real time. Identification data are generated only during initial configuration or reset.
Storage location and retention period
Temporary data are stored in device RAM and deleted upon shutdown or restart. Stored data are saved in VVS-Trading servers and deleted upon account removal.
Access methods
Data can be accessed in real time via the dedicated mobile applications (iOS and Android) through Wi-Fi.
4. Related Service Data
Products can connect to mobile devices and be managed through dedicated App, allowing users to:
- configure end manage the products
- monitor and view data of the products.
In addition to the product data transmitted, in the context of providing the Related Service, data relating to the use of the App and the operation of the Products are generated, including:
- TEMPORARY DATA
1) User commands (Change of operating mode, change of fan speed, setting of the desired humidity level, configuration of the light sensor, activation of “scheduled” mode, device restart/reset, filter reset);
2) security/authentication tokens (access tokens for authentication, temporary tokens for operation such as registration confirmation or password recovery or email change);
3) device-user association data. - STORED DATA
1)User data (email, protected password, name, account data, preferences).
2) Home data (name, address/coordinates, time zone).
3) Zones and rooms (home areas, rooms, connections between rooms and areas.
4) Installed products data (for each product associated with the user: serial number, type/model, name assigned by the user, association with the room/zone, role, installation data/time, firmware versions)).
5) Scheduling data.
Temporary data are stored in RAM; stored data are held on VVS-Trading. server.
5. Data sharing with third parties
Requests to share data with third parties designated by the user may be submitted via email to info@vvs-trading.dk
6. Data security
Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented, including encryption, access control, logging, backup, and disaster recovery.
7. User rights
Users have the right to access, portability, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and objection to marketing or profiling. No profiling activities are carried out. Requests may be sent to: info@vvs-trading.dk.
